Q. Nothing is FREE! What's the catch?
A. There is no "catch". We want to provide a place for riders on the web. If you don't mind a few advertising banners and don't want an Half-DozenRiders.com email account, then the FREE Membership plan is perfect for you.
If you would rather not see advertising banners, would like an @Half-DozenRiders.com email address, and would like a FREE Half-Dozen Riders Hat then you can upgrade to one of our affordable 1 or 2 year membership plans.
Q. When will I receive my free hat?
A. We will make every effort to ship your hat within two weeks from the date you upgrade your Half-Dozen Riders membership. We cannot guarantee shipping dates, however, due to hat availability and possible delays from the manufacturer.
Q. Can I buy Half-Dozen Riders hats, t-shirts, and other merchadise?
A. Yes, please visit the Online Store.
Q. Can I use Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, or anther email client to get my Half-DozenRiders.com email?
A. Yes, your Half-Dozen Riders email account is a POP3 account. Just set your:
POP3 server to "mail.Half-DozenRiders.com"
SMTP Server to "mail.Half-DozenRiders.com"
Indicate that the "Outgoing Mail Server" requirs authentication, and
Use your full email address as your username
Q. What happens if I don't renew my membership?
A. If you do not renew your upgraded membership by the expiration date it will revert to a FREE Membership. Your email account will be de-activated and you will begin seeing advertising when you are logged in. FREE Memberships remain in the system as long as you are active on the site. You must log in at least once every 90 days or the account will automatically expire
Q. My membership expired. Can I still renew?
A. You can renew/extend your membership at any time by logging in - clicking on "My Profile" - click the "Extend Membership" link found in the Account Information section.
